Fatos Nano resembles that liberated helmsman who played with the direction of the wind, temporarily leaving the steering of the ship in other hands.

Every time he regretted it, he would quarrel with those to whom he had left the helm, get into fights and get injured, and take the ship back to leave it again and take it back again.

The strongest passion of his life was to regain with difficulty what he easily lost.

He practiced democracy as a whim, anger as a joke, humor as a duty, debates as work, departure as power, and the break between departures as a beginning.

Fatos Nano had a rare ability to create enemies who, once defeated, he would make friends, and a great talent for making life difficult for himself to the point of torture.

Since he spent most of his strength calming the storms he created, the time he had left for other tasks was always insufficient.

He probably left thinking that he gave more than he received and that if he turned back, he would steer the ship into other waters.

He takes with him a part of our memories, but what will always be remembered is that he left Albania much better than he found it whenever time called him to decide.
