The Central Inspectorate of Market Supervision within the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade (MINT), together with the Kosovo Tax Administration (ATK) and the Competition Authority, went on the ground on Friday to inspect points of sale of petroleum products, with the aim of verifying the implementation of the decision to regulate prices.
By decision of the Minister, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, pushed back after developments in the international market, oil prices cannot be higher than 1.54 euros per liter, while gasoline prices have a maximum price of 1.36 euros.
Inspector Shkëndije Bajrami-Azizi said that inspections are being carried out continuously throughout the territory of Kosovo, and that price monitoring is also carried out on a daily basis.
"The Market Surveillance Inspectorate within the Ministry of Trade, in cooperation with the Tax Administration Inspectorate and the Competition Authority, have carried out regular inspections regarding the implementation of the MINT decision on regulating oil prices for wholesalers and retailers", declared Bajrami-Azizi.
