Kosovo Police has issued a statement regarding AKP properties that a person illegally privatized and then sold.
According to the police, the arrested person is suspected of collaborating with other people.
The amounts that those involved have benefited from are in the millions.
"The Kosovo Police, specifically the Document Forgery Investigation Unit from the Directorate for the Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption, under the authorization of the State Prosecutor from the Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina, after several months of intensive investigations, has discovered and documented suspected criminal activities related to the forgery of state property documents.
During the investigation, it was found that the suspect, in collusion with other persons, forged documents that were used in procedures for the transfer and legalization of properties under the management of the Privatization Agency of Kosovo (PAK), with the aim of changing ownership and alienating state properties into private ownership. The properties were then sold by deceiving the buyers and benefiting from large financial sums worth millions. In implementation of the Order of the Basic Court in Pristina, dated 01.11.2025, in two regions of the country, the police carried out searches in one house, three apartments and two garages that were suspected to be under the supervision of the suspect.
During the operation, documents related to the case, equipment used for forgery (five old typewriters and a "Paper Trimmer"), a Zaragio-type revolver with 103 cartridges, an iPhone 17 Pro, a Rolex watch and a Rolex bracelet were seized.
The arrested person is suspected of "Forgery of Documents", "Legalization of False Content", Fraud" and "Unauthorized Ownership, Control or Possession of Weapons".
He has been detained for 48 hours, while investigations into the identification of other individuals continue.
"The Kosovo Police, in cooperation with the justice bodies, remains committed to combating economic crimes, corruption and any form of misuse of public property, guaranteeing legality, transparency and accountability towards the citizens and institutions of the Republic of Kosovo."
