PDK MP Enver Hoxhaj has commented on the political situation regarding the election of the president of Kosovo, criticizing the actions of Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
Hoxhaj said that over the past two weeks, two meetings have been held on this topic and in the past two days, a name for president has been proposed by the Vetëvendosje Movement. He added that over the past two hours, there has also been a relevant session.
"This fact shows that Kurti neither wants to lead the country according to the constitutional mandate nor the government, but is trying to buy time. The citizen of Kosovo should know that we as PDK are not for elections and we do not want to take the country to elections," Hoxhaj said in Politiko.
The MP recalled that two elections were held last year and emphasized that PDK does not want this situation to repeat, adding that the future of the process depends on the actions of Prime Minister Kurti.
