The Albanian Ambassador to North Macedonia, Denion Meidani, has conveyed an emotional message on the occasion of Teacher's Day, sharing a very personal part of his life.
In his congratulations, he recalls growing up in an education-loving family among books, advice, and stories that, according to him, shaped not only his knowledge, but also the way he understands the world.
He has shared a photo with the public where he is seen together with his father, former Albanian President Rexhep Meidani, where his parent is shown showing them a book, while in the background a library full of books is seen.
Meidani expresses special gratitude and respect for all teachers, emphasizing that their role goes beyond the classroom and books, as they directly influence the formation of generations and the building of society.
"Thank you for everything you have taught us - in the classroom and at home," concludes the ambassador's greeting, a message that comes as a sincere thank you to all those who have dedicated their lives to education.
Below is the full text of Ambassador Meidani's congratulations:
"Happy Teacher's Day!"
I grew up surrounded by books, stories, and advice from two people who not only taught me how to read, but also how to understand the world.
Having teaching parents means having the lesson with you every day of your life.
"Thank you for everything you have taught us - in class and at home," Meidani wrote on Facebook.
