Speaking about the Constitutional Court's decision regarding the constitution of the Assembly, PDK MP Blerta Deliu said that it is now clear that with violations of the constitution and regulations, there cannot be a constitution of the Assembly.
Asked if they would vote for any candidate from the Serbian List for deputy speaker of the Assembly, Deliu told RTV21 that as a party they do not have a vote for MP Slavko Simić, but did not reveal whether they hold the same position for any other MP from this Serbian political entity.
She said that whenever the next session is scheduled, they will be present in the Assembly and will act in full harmony with the constitution.
"We have been clear and have said for a long time that the way in which the election of deputy chairmen from minorities was proceeded with was a way that contradicts the Constitution. We have said as PDK that with a violation of the constitution and regulations, there cannot be a constitution of the Assembly, this was also said by the Constitutional Court...it is extremely clear that even in the past, both the regulations and the constitution clearly state that deputy chairmen should be voted in packages and not separately. PDK has clarified its position, we will respect the constitution of Kosovo, we will be in the Assembly not to vote for Simiqi, we have said correctly that PDK does not have a vote for Simiqi...as President Krasniqi has said, we do not have a vote for either the thief or Simiqi. We will be in full harmony with the constitution, the rules and the constitutional order of Kosovo, any attempt to deviate from this order is a violation of the state of Kosovo", there is currently no discussion on how to proceed...", said Deliu.
