The Kosovo Energy Corporation has announced through a press release that a temporary interruption in the functioning of electrostatic precipitators has been identified at the "Kosova A" Thermal Power Plant.
This occurred, according to KEK, "as a result of an interruption in the electrical circuit of the automatic air compressor circuit breakers, which caused the automatic stop of the operation of the electrostatic precipitators."
"Immediately after the situation was identified, technical teams took the necessary actions to fully identify the cause, while interventions are currently underway to repair the defect and restore full functionality of the system," KEK announced.
The announcement states that intensive preventive measures are being implemented to protect other technical assets and minimize any potential risk to the system.
