DUI today accuses VLEN of itself publishing documents showing that the government is violating the Law on Languages.
"Yesterday's VLEN post, which attempted to present the bilingual publication of documents in the Official Gazette as a success, ended up as public evidence of the failure to implement the law by the institutions they themselves run.
The Official Gazette does not act on the basis of political desire, nor on the basis of the will of the moment. It has a legal obligation to publish announcements in two languages, according to the legal order in force.
So, the Vlen MP, in an attempt to gain praise, actually promoted the implementation of a law that is being contested every day.
Even more seriously, with the very comparison he made with other institutions, he publicly admitted that many institutions do not respect the legal obligation to use the Albanian language.
This means that the problem is not the interpretation of the law. The problem is the non-implementation of the law. The government and the President cannot hide behind the propaganda of their MPs.
When the goal is to deceive the public, the truth comes to the surface.
