At the Tabanovce Border Crossing Point, BK (44) from Prilep was deprived of his liberty. Based on previously received information about the commission of the criminal offense of "fraud", the Criminal Police Department, in cooperation with the Strumica Police Station - Vallandovo Police Unit, undertook coordinated measures and activities to solve the case.
According to current data, in the period from July to November 2025, the suspect, in order to obtain material benefit illegally, deceived a person from Vallandova, presenting false facts that he would help organize medical treatment abroad for his wife.
In this way, the injured party in several cases paid a total of around 88.300 euros (5.549.200 denars), while his wife had passed away.
The suspect was brought before the preliminary procedure judge at the Basic Court in Gevgelija, where he was given a precautionary measure.
