The leader of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku, has announced the visits he had yesterday and today from the Italian ambassador, Maurizio Antonini, and the German ambassador, Rainer Rudolph.
Abdixhiku said that he also received congratulations for the LDK Assembly from the Chargé d'Affaires at the US Embassy, Annu Prattipati, and the British Ambassador, Jonathan Hargreeves.
"I express my gratitude for the continued support that the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Germany and Italy have provided and continue to provide to the LDK and Kosovo, in all phases of state-building, democratic consolidation and Euro-Atlantic integration. These partners remain important allies of the Republic of Kosovo and supporters of its democracy," Abdixhiku wrote.
Regarding the meetings with the German and Italian ambassadors, Abdixhiku said that institutions should be established as soon as possible in accordance with the civic will and democratic principles.
"In these meetings, we discussed the current political developments in the country, the position of the Democratic League of Kosovo towards this situation, as well as the necessity of forming new and functional institutions as soon as possible, in accordance with the will of the people and democratic principles."
"In both cases, I emphasized the urgent need for institutional stability, political responsibility, and concrete actions that serve the citizens of Kosovo, economic development, and social well-being," Abdixhiku wrote.
