After surviving a vote of confidence on January 31st in the Assembly of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), the leader of this party, Lumir Abdixhiku, posted a video on Facebook.
After the LDK assembly, he called this phase a new beginning, saying that they must align themselves with the citizens.
"Let's walk together now. This is our new beginning! There are times when more important than the words that are spoken, are the words that are kept. Today is exactly that time. Let's talk less, let's work more. Let's line up, behind the citizen voice that expects much from us. The League awaits you and calls you", said Abdixhiku.
After the results of December 28, where LDK received just over 13% of the vote, Abdixhiku announced his resignation, but left his fate in the hands of the Assembly.
The Assembly, with 55% of the votes, continued his mandate, but within the LDK there were also voices against it, which constituted 45% of the Assembly. /Gazeta Express
