The leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, said that there is no will for consensus on the issue of the President.
After meeting with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, he said that even a political agreement is not possible.
Asked about this, Abdixhiku denied that the political agreement is still on the table.
"Last time we had three alternatives. The first was imposition, which we immediately removed from the table. Then there were political agreement and consensus. In principle, the leader of Vetëvendosje requested 85 votes, which means that the political agreement with LDK is not made for 85 votes. So, there were neither preconditions nor discussions for a political agreement," he said.
Abdixhiku said "let them try the race," referring to Kurti's statements warning that there could also be a party race for President.
"But LDK suggests that consensus be tested before the race," he said.
