Prime Minister Albin Kurti's advisor, Jeton Zulfaj, spoke in an interview on RTK about the impasse over the issue of electing the president. Zulfaj said that LVV has the votes for president and according to him, opposition parties should participate in the Assembly, whether by voting for or against, writes Gazeta Express.
"The votes for the president are in. All that is needed is participation. There is no reason to block the government and try to overturn the election results at the ballot box through a boycott," Zulfaj said, Express reports.
"There needs to be reflection, to make the opposition in the Assembly, to end the mandate, so that in the next elections you have material for growth. There needs to be reflection from the opposition. They are not asking for votes. This year they are blocking by not participating in the vote," he added.
"You have to be in the Assembly to express your opinion, for, against or abstain. Let them come and vote against you. Raise your hand as high as possible so they can see you are voting against," Zulfaj said on RTK. /Express/
