Avdullah Hoti of the Democratic League of Kosovo, during the session where the 2026 Draft Budget is being reviewed in first reading, had a series of criticisms of the Vetëvendosje government, for which he also focused on, according to him, Vetëvendosje's "trickery" in claims to reduce unemployment.
"You are proud of that Superpuna program. Instead of having policies to promote employment and industry. And here is the argument. You say unemployment has fallen to 19%. But employment has not increased.
"Because people have immigrated outside (the country) and are no longer in the numbers. Because they have gone abroad. You don't have those in the employment figures who are not in the employment figures. Entire villages have been emptied in recent years," said Hoti.
