The singer at one point expressed to Egli that he had feelings for her and that he considered her his "lover." But, just a day later, his attitude changed radically.
"Don't talk nonsense. Why do you bother to fight with me, what's wrong with you? Why won't you be nice to me? It breaks my heart, it's horrible. You're too good, seriously. I don't deserve you, I've shown you. If I lie to you, I won't lie to you," he says, hinting at a withdrawal from their previous intimacy.
Egli's reaction was not long in coming: "We both know this, but our hearts don't ask."
"I don't deserve you at all, these are things that can be seen. You deserve someone better than me, you deserve the happiness of the world. I know you will find the happiness of the world," he told the resident.
"How is it possible that the night before you told me I was your girlfriend, and the next day you told me I would find happiness elsewhere?" Egli retorted.
