This is not a big request. It is a public plea from a citizen who is concerned about the trend of national security threats.

Today the world is deeply disordered. So badly and so deeply that the deepening of the crisis within Kosovo under these circumstances will remain your responsibility in the history of our people. Today the world does not have a functional framework, and not only in terms of economic security. What we knew as global security until a few years ago is deeply damaged. And, it has been significantly worsened by what we knew as global security a few months ago.
The trends are not good either in terms of regional security stability. These circumstances deepening in global uncertainty have been a constant part of Serbia's hegemonic calculations. In early October 2020, Aleksandar Vučić said that Serbia had learned a lesson from the situation of 'returning control' over Nagorno-Karabakh by Azerbaijan and that "the international community's reaction to the renewal of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh was lukewarm and this can serve as a lesson for Serbia". Do you understand what this means, or not?!
Let's get it completely straight: This means that Vučić has been calculating for some time that if the world gets into a major war situation, Serbia will enter the war in Kosovo!
A worsening global security situation (which I hope will not happen!) must not in any way find Kosovo in internal crises, fundamentally meaningless and motivated by personal and party interests, practically. Because, this deepening crisis of the lack of compromise to elect central institutions (at least so far!) has proven to be linked to personal and party interests, not to different concepts that cannot be combined. Proof of this are several rounds of 'constructive' meetings without result between the ruling party and two of the three Albanian parliamentary opposition parties. If there were insurmountable conceptual differences, such meetings would not have been held, would they?
A President must be elected. The crisis must be overcome. A compromise must be reached for this.
This is the essence of the approach you must maintain. A servant to the Constitution and not to partisan goals. A Supreme Commander of our Army who is able to understand and behave constitutionally in the event of an emergency.
You may not do this. Because, it seems, you have the leadership. So, you want elections. In advance, your entire arsenal of party and propaganda calculations is oriented towards “who is to blame!” You do not want the blame for yourself. But, you are not ready for solutions.
I believe everyone is reading these tactical combinatorics by now!
But, you are not reading the circumstances, the dangers and the threats to our national security correctly. Politicians have an essential duty: to protect the state! Protecting the state also means preparing to face these dangers. Even with aggression! Even with war!
You are not preparing Kosovo to stand on its own feet. Quite the opposite.
