N.XH., around 40 years old, from Drenas, died today after falling from a height while carrying out work on a roof in Prizren.
The victim was rushed to the Prizren Regional Hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries.
Kosovo Police for the Prizren region have confirmed to Gazeta Express that the supervisor and investor of the works have been interviewed as suspects.
Both were detained for 48 hours after being interviewed.
Regarding the case, the supervising investigators and the state prosecutor have been notified, who has instructed to initiate criminal proceedings for the offense: "Destruction, damage or removal of protective equipment and endangering safety in the workplace."
