Democratic Party of Kosovo MP, Përparim Gruda, stated on the "RTK Prime" show that after months of blockade in the Kosovo Assembly, the entire debate was centered around one argument: the opposition has said that secret voting is not allowed, while the government has insisted that it is allowed. According to him, the Constitutional Court has ruled that secret voting is not allowed.
"I think the reason why the Constitutional Court is being attacked by the government is that there is a hidden dissatisfaction in the background: 'Why are you still not allowing us to block the Kosovo Assembly?'" said Gruda.
According to him, the law remains on the side of the Court, but the problem is that the verdict has taken away from the hands of those in power an important tool, the "blockade tool".
"I think that there is no reading of PDK or VV, or others; there is only a professional reading that should be given to the judgment of the Constitutional Court. Today we have the complete enacting clause of the judgment, in the language of the public, we have the ordering part and it will not change at any point, even when the full judgment is published. We are only waiting for the reasoning part; what can change are only the technical details", emphasized Gruda, among other things.
