Powered by the Cerence Chat Pro platform, this enhancement will enable a more sophisticated and user-friendly experience.
With the new system, users can engage in natural conversations with their car, asking general knowledge questions and making occasional requests like “cool down” to adjust the climate controls.
Owners of compatible ID.4 cars with an active Plus Speech with AI subscription will see this feature automatically enabled.
This feature is included for three years in the ID.4 and ID. Buzz cars, one year for the GTI, Golf R and Tiguan models.
The system ensures data protection by instantly deleting chat data, and while it improves interaction capabilities, it does not have access to machine data.
This integration promises to make driving more comfortable and enjoyable by offering a more interactive and intelligent voice assistant experience.
