Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk is set to face Britain's Daniel Dubois again in a historic fight on Saturday night at London's Wembley Stadium. The challenge will determine the undisputed heavyweight champion in professional boxing.

Usyk, 38, holds the WBA Super, WBO and WBC titles, while Dubois holds the IBF title. All four major boxing titles will be on the line in this bout. The two boxers last faced each other in August 2023, when Usyk won by ninth-round stoppage.

"Age won't make a difference," Usyk said. "I respect Dubois, but I'm just as motivated as he is. 38 years is not a lot."

Usyk is undefeated in 23 professional fights, with 14 wins by stoppage. He has special memories of London, where he won gold at the 2012 Olympics, but this will be his first time boxing at Wembley.

On the other hand, the 27-year-old Dubois has 22 wins (21 by stoppage) and two losses. After being defeated by Usyk, he came back strong with victories over Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic and Anthony Joshua. “I want to write my own story and beat these generations of champions,” Dubois declared.

Usyk, who is aiming to become the undisputed champion for the third time, has also expressed his desire to box in Ukraine before he retires: "I know that one day I will box in my country. I want the fight to end, but it has to end so that it doesn't come back again."

He has been training in Spain, as conditions in Ukraine are not safe for sparring. Usyk, who briefly joined the armed forces, remains a symbol of motivation for his compatriots facing Russian occupation.
