Uncontrolled movement between Albania and Kosovo has been restored. The decision came into effect on November 1 and will last until the end of February.
Border controls will only apply to vehicles with foreign license plates, while vehicles with Albanian and Kosovo license plates will not be subject to controls.
The free movement agreement between the two countries aims to facilitate circulation, especially during the summer season, when the flow of travel increases significantly.
Two periods for uncontrolled passage have been defined between the two countries, from May 1 to September 30, and from November 1 to February 28.
