Ukraine has launched a wide-ranging attack with long-range drones targeting several regions in Russia, including the major Ryazan oil refinery, after three days of massive attacks by Moscow against Ukraine.
The Kiev attack on Friday followed a series of drone and missile attacks on Ukraine, including the capital Kiev, where a cruise missile hit an apartment block on Thursday, killing 24 people, including three children, The Guardian writes.
Russian authorities said four people, including a child, were hit in Ukrainian air strikes. Russia's Investigative Committee said it had opened a terrorism investigation into the attacks,
saying they targeted "residential and civilian infrastructure."
Witnesses suggested that the target of the attacks in Ryazan appeared to be the oil refinery, one of the largest in Russia, which was engulfed in flames after being hit by the attacks. /klankosova
