A new video from a US military drone has captured what UFO investigators are calling a mysterious formation of orbs flying over one of the world's most sensitive regions.

Investigative journalist and documentary maker Jeremy Corbell, co-host of the podcast WEAPONIZED, released footage this week purportedly obtained by intelligence sources showing three flying objects over the Persian Gulf on August 23, 2012.

The one-minute recording was taken by the MQ-9 Reaper drone, operated by the US Air Force, using its infrared sensors shortly after 6pm local time.

According to Corbell and co-host George Knapp, the Pentagon described these three lights as "orbs" flying in formation, rather than being part of a triangular object.

In the video, one of the lights appears to suddenly fall behind the other two, before “flying” forward to lead the group. Corbell added that the orbs appeared to move in an almost “loyal” and intelligently coordinated manner, maintaining equal distances without any visible wings, tails, fins or engine exhaust.

He stressed that the leaked recording clearly showed unidentified flying objects displaying one of the "five observed behaviors" often associated with UFOs - unusual flight movements that defy basic physics.

In this case, the orb moving between the other two showed clear signs of instantaneous acceleration without any apparent thrust, a feature that human aircraft have not publicly demonstrated.

Corbell noted that the US Department of War has officially classified the orbs as “UAP” – Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, the new term for UFOs.

The video is said to have been placed in a special archive dedicated to evidence of non-human objects or objects that were clearly not birds, balloons or other explainable things.

The podcast co-hosts stressed that the reliability of this observation is unquestionable, as the footage was taken by the military, using technology that collects more data than a standard camera or ordinary phone.

"This is an image generated by military sensors that looks like a triangular UFO, a large triangular object with dots on each of the three ends. But looking at it, it's not like that," Knapp said in the January 30 episode.

“Your government has labeled this as UAP, and you have never been allowed to see this material,” Corbell added.

The two experts note that the area where the recording was made, between Saudi Arabia and Iran, has exploded as a hotspot for UAP activity in recent years, with crews on US Navy ships reporting many encounters with bright objects in the sky.

In one incident, an unknown object illuminated the bridge of a Navy ship with an extremely bright light, so bright that a commanding officer said she raised her hand to shield her eyes, but could not see the hand in front of her face.

In another incident revealed during a hearing in Washington, footage from a military drone showed the moment a Hellfire missile struck, but only crashed into the hull of a UFO flying over Yemen, continuing its journey at extreme speed.

The incredible footage was presented by Congressman Eric Burlison of Missouri during a congressional hearing on the UAP on October 30, 2024, which was also attended by military whistleblowers.

Witness Jeffrey Nuccetelli, a former military police officer for 16 years, called the Hellfire video "extraordinary evidence" for the existence of UFOs.

However, the US government and the Pentagon have officially stated that there has been no physical evidence found to prove the existence of UFOs or extraterrestrial beings.

The podcast highlighted that ARRO, the Pentagon department that reviews all UAP incidents, has released very few videos showing clear footage of UFOs, despite the fact that whistleblowers' footage continues to leak to the public. /GazetaExpress/
