Tirana Police have arrested 2 people, sentenced to a total of 12 years in prison for drug trafficking. One of them is expected to be extradited to Italy to serve the sentence imposed by the Ancona Court.
Two people have been arrested by the Police in Tirana after being sentenced to a total of 12 years in prison for drug trafficking.
Through a statement, the Police announced that 43-year-old Klodian Hoxha was arrested, whom the Court of Ancona in Italy has sentenced to 8 years and 6 months in prison for drug trafficking.
Interpol Tirana continues to cooperate with Interpol Rome to finalize the procedure for the extradition of Klodian Hoxha to Italy.
Meanwhile, the Police announce that another 26-year-old man has been arrested, after the Tirana Court sentenced him to 3 years and 4 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics".
In this case, the procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.

Two citizens, sentenced to approximately 12 years in prison for crimes in the field of narcotics, are being held in Italy and Tirana.
As a result of the searches based on and operational police work, carried out by the structures under the Tirana Local Police Directorate, with the aim of locating and detaining the citizens declared wanted, the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with Interpol Tirana, as well as the Special Operational Force finalized the operation codenamed "Network", during which the following citizens were arrested:
-Klodian Hoxha, 43 years old, arrested in Lapraka, after the Court of Ancona, Italy, sentenced him to 8 years and 6 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Trafficking in narcotics". Interpol Tirana continues to cooperate with Interpol Rome, to finalize the procedure for the extradition of this citizen to Italy;
-FB, 26 years old, after the Tirana Court sentenced him to 3 years and 4 months in prison for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics".
