The country's Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, said that in the meeting with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, held on Friday, they had a deep and sincere discussion for about two hours, which focused on the topics of cooperation and integration, security and defense, as well as the economy and development.
"On Friday, I was a guest of the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, at a meeting, a working lunch. The cordial welcome was followed by a deep and sincere discussion for about two hours, which focused on the topics of cooperation, integration, security, defense, and economy and development," Kurti said.
He added that during the meeting, they discussed Kosovo's path towards membership in the EU and other international organizations, as well as NATO's important role in Kosovo for cooperation with North Atlantic allies and regional security in the Balkans.
"Also, strengthening defense capacities and relations with Kosovo's northern neighbors were issues that I discussed with the French president," Kurti concluded.
