A small fire broke out on a Turkish Airlines plane after it landed at Kathmandu airport.
Authorities were forced to temporarily close the airport for about an hour until the flames were brought under control.
According to Nepal's civil aviation authority, the fire broke out in the right rear landing gear of the Airbus A330-300 aircraft, which was flying from Istanbul to Kathmandu.
Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal spokesman Gyanendra Bhull said all 277 passengers and 11 crew members were evacuated safely and no injuries were reported.

Emergency crews immediately intervened to extinguish the fire, while the airport resumed normal operations after completing safety procedures.
Authorities have launched investigations to determine the causes of the incident.
