Talks between the US and Iran could resume "within the next two days," Donald Trump told the foreign newspaper New York Post, the BBC reported.
"Something could happen over the next couple of days and we are more inclined to go there [to Pakistan]," he tells the newspaper.
This comes after a weekend meeting in Islamabad, Pakistan, attended by, among others, US Vice President JD Vance and Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf. The talks ended without an agreement.
Earlier today, Iranian state media said messages have been exchanged between Tehran and Pakistan, but there is "no information" about any agreement to hold further talks with the US, Gazeta Express reports.
