Authorities have announced that all victims of the tragic fire on a postal bus in Chiètres in the canton of Fribourg have been identified. The incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon and left six people dead and five injured.
The dead include the suspected perpetrator, a 65-year-old Swiss man from the canton of Bern. Other victims include the bus driver, a 63-year-old man of Portuguese origin, two women (aged 25 and 39) and two men (aged 16 and 29), all residents of the region.
Five injured people have also been identified, including two hospitalized: a 56-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man. Authorities have opened a helpline for families, victims and witnesses: 0800 261 700.
