The Prosecution Office against Organized Crime announced that it has launched an investigation into three people from Skopje, suspected of "development of a criminal organization" and "unauthorized production, possession and trade of weapons and explosive materials."
Investigations show that the suspects are organized to avenge their relatives previously convicted of participating in a terrorist organization, operate as a group with radical Islamist ideology, and are suspected of raising funds domestically and abroad for propaganda and weapons purchases.
According to the court's decision, searches were conducted in homes and various premises in Skopje, where weapons, electronic devices and other material evidence were seized. The three suspects were ordered to be detained for 30 days.
