Police have announced that they received a complaint regarding a robbery on February 3. Two victims stated that three masked and armed men threatened them and robbed them of the money they had with them.
"On 03.02.2026, at around 01:10, the Police received a complaint from two victims (one male and one female) regarding a robbery case. According to the victims' statements, three masked individuals armed with knives and pistols, threatening them, took a sum of money they had with them."
After investigations, the police have identified four suspects, three of whom have been arrested while one is still being sought by the police.
“Suspect No. 1 was arrested near a bar in Prizren. During the search, a weapon was found on his body, while another weapon, two masks, gloves and clothes that were suspected of being used during the robbery were found in his vehicle. With a tactical plan supported by other units, two other suspects were arrested at another location in Prizren. By order of the Prosecutor of the case, raids were carried out in the homes of one of the suspects and in a bar, where additional evidence was found.”
Two of the suspects have admitted to committing the crime.
"Two of the suspects, in the presence of their defense attorneys, have admitted to the crime committed. By order of the Custodian Prosecutor, the three suspects: KK (20 years old), Sh.G. (20 years old), LG (36 years old) have been detained for 48 hours. The fourth suspect, VS, has not been found at home and is currently on the run. The case continues to be investigated by the Regional Investigation Sector - Prizren, in close cooperation with the State Prosecution."
