Today marks 31 years since 17-year-old Indian-American Balamurali Ambati graduated from medical school, becoming the youngest doctor in the world.
At the age of 11, Ambati finished high school and co-authored a book on AIDS.
When he was 13, he graduated from New York University and after 4 years received his ophthalmology degree. Currently, Dr. Ambati is a professor at the University of Utah.
