A serious incident occurred yesterday around 15:00 PM on the Ferizaj-Pristina road, where a worker lost his life after falling from a height at his workplace.
Klank reports that the victim is Gazmend Ahmeti, born in 1982 from the village of Mihaliq in Vushtrri.
He was working on a construction site when, for reasons still unclear, he fell from a height and suffered serious bodily injuries.
The news was also confirmed by the Police spokesperson for the Pristina region, Flora Ahmeti, who announced that the victim did not survive the injuries he sustained.
"Today at around 15:00 we received information that on the Ferizaj-Pristina road, a person fell from a height while he was working. The victim, a 43-year-old male, was unable to cope with his injuries and passed away. The victim's death was confirmed by the medical team at the scene," Ahmeti stated.
She added that the Kosovo Police, in coordination with the Prosecution and the Labor Inspectorate, have launched investigations to clarify the full circumstances of the case.
