The third organized flight with passengers who were successfully evacuated from Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain arrived at Pristina International Airport last night.
As announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Timço Mucunski, the passengers were initially transported by organized transport to Riyadh, from where they safely left the region on a special flight.
There were 151 passengers on the plane, of whom 109 were citizens of North Macedonia, while the rest were citizens of several other countries. The evacuation was carried out according to a previously determined plan and in coordination with the competent institutions, Mucunski said in a Facebook post.
He added that the safety of the citizens of North Macedonia remains the highest priority, while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade will continue to be at the disposal of all citizens who need support in the affected regions.
