Dashnor Veizaj, co-chair of the Student Council Union in Albania, explained why the bus with students was blocked at the border with North Macedonia.
"An inexplicable situation has been created at the border with North Macedonia. We are a bus with students, all 18 years old. They have blocked us and told us that the bus must turn back because we need to verify if there are minors in the group. This is happening so that we do not catch the start time of the protest in Skopje," said Veizaj in a direct connection with "Puls" by Bruna Çifligu, on A2CNN.
"The youngest student in the group is in his first year of university. It is unacceptable how we are being treated on a trip we want to take to North Macedonia. We have contacted the Albanian ambassador to help us with the crossing. They tell us that they will not hinder us, but they have to get it from the North Macedonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs," Veizaj added.
