The Vetëvendosje Movement does not see its former collaborator Vjosa Osmani, who is expected to join the LDK for the June 7 elections, as an electoral threat.
Asked if they see Osmani as a strong opponent, VV member Enver Dugolli said that they are not afraid of anyone, adding that he does not believe that Osmani's move to LDK will reduce electoral support for VV.
"We have the citizens we want to have next to us and no one is scaring us, Mrs. Osmani is returning to where they closed the doors and where LVV and Albin Kurti gave her the opportunity, so I don't know what has changed since the time they left her and didn't want to listen to her voice at all, I don't know what changed, she knows best for herself, but I believe that there will be no more sincere allies than the Vetëvendosje Movement and Mr. Kurti. We have never closed the door to Mrs. Osmani or anyone who wanted our country to progress. And we will continue to do so in the future, so we have not closed the door to anyone," Dugolli told rtv21.
