The Regional Police Directorate in Peja, Police Station in Peja, on 26.01.2026, received information from the complainant that a case of aggravated theft had occurred on 'Ndue Përlleshi' street in Peja.
The complainant, who is temporarily residing in the USA, stated that in his house on the aforementioned street, he left in the safe an amount of 176.900 (one hundred and seventy-six thousand and nine hundred) US dollars and 3750 (three thousand seven hundred and fifty) euros, which were stolen.
After intensive work by investigators from the Regional Investigation Sector of the DRP-Peć, on 21.04.2026, they managed to arrest the suspect, who is suspected of having stolen the aforementioned amount of money.
After being interviewed by investigators, by order of the state prosecutor, the suspect was sent into custody for 48 hours.
