Vehid Murić, suspected of a triple murder in Podgorica, was arrested this evening in the city center of Rožaje. The state prosecutor at the High State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica was immediately informed of the arrest, RTCG reported, Gazeta Express reports.
It is suspected that VM previously, in the Stari Aerodrom neighborhood of Podgorica, took the lives of three people: DH (27) and NH (34) from Rozaje, as well as KM (55), a citizen of the Republic of Serbia from Novi Pazar.
The crime occurred on Kozaračka Street in the Stari Aerodrom neighborhood of Podgorica.
The investigation at the scene of the triple murder in the Stari Aerodrom neighborhood of Podgorica has been completed and the motive for the murder is currently unknown, VDT acting prosecutor Danka Đerić told gathered journalists.
"All evidence has been seized. At this moment, the perpetrator of this criminal act is being sought. During the investigation, forensic actions have also been taken in the presence of an expert. It is assumed that the murder was committed with a cold weapon," she stressed.
The suspect will be sent to the High State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica for further jurisdiction, along with a criminal report.
"After carrying out comprehensive investigative and evidentiary actions, the public will be informed immediately and transparently about all relevant circumstances and the further course of the procedure, where at this stage a sufficient number of evidence and facts have been collected that unequivocally show that the suspect VM is the direct author of this criminal act," the announcement states.
