A serious murder occurred today in the early hours of the morning in Gjakova.
As announced by the Kosovo Police, one person has died and another has been injured.
The Kosovo Police spokesperson in Gjakova said that the incident occurred on "Vëllezërit Frashëri" street in Gjakova.
"The relevant police units immediately responded to the case and the state prosecutor was notified, who also went to the scene. The necessary investigative actions are currently being taken with the aim of arresting the suspect and fully clarifying the circumstances of the incident," Elezaj said.
Regarding the case, details were provided to the news by the spokesperson for the Basic Prosecution Office in Gjakova, Drin Domi.
He said the suspect has been identified but is on the run.
"A case has been initiated for the criminal offense of "Aggravated Murder". The suspect has been identified and is on the run. The State Prosecutor has arrived at the scene. The victim's body has been sent for autopsy to the IML," said Domi.
