Not to exaggerate, but I can say that I found the coolest toilet in London.
In fact, the toilet itself is ordinary, but the bathroom facilities are extraordinary. Did you get the pun?
And before you ask, no, we're not talking about Sketch and its iconic egg-shaped cubes. This toilet is special for a whole other reason: the amazing view it offers over the city skyline.
You'll find this special setting at Decimo, a restaurant with Mexican and Spanish-influenced cuisine, located on the 10th floor of The Standard Hotel on Argyle Street.

I recently visited Decimo to do a review for Metro's Slice newsletter, and no joke: it was amazing.
However, despite the many things that stuck in my mind from the visit – from the Caesar salad cart to the fantastic cocktails – I have to admit that I can't stop thinking about the bathrooms.

It may seem strange, but it's true.
This probably has to do with the fact that I wasn't prepared for what I was about to see inside. As soon as you enter, you're faced with floor-to-ceiling windows, and on the 10th floor, you can see EVERYTHING.
@lowfo_options @The Standard, London Decimo is a stunning restaurant but don't miss the bathrooms! The lighting, the views, the mirrors, all so good 😉 #bestbathroom #londonview #londonviews #decimo #londonviewpoint #londonvibes #londonhotel #thestandard #decimolondon #spanishrestaurant #mexicanrestaurant #londonhotspots #londontiktok ♬ Cut My Hair – beaux
And I mean everything – from The Shard, to St Paul's and the London Eye.
If that's not enough, the interior design is extraordinary, with mid-century modern touches.
Inside you'll find large curved wooden mirrors and circular sinks, positioned so that each looks like your own personal makeup table.

If I could do my makeup there every morning, with this view as a backdrop, I would be a happy girl.
And I'm not the only one impressed by Decimo's bathrooms. On social media, various diners have called them 'stunning', with @lowfo_options saying on TikTok that the restaurant has "one of the best bathroom views in London".
Likewise, @thebigsmokelondon commented: "Views for days."
While @honestfoodieuk said they are "high-end bathroom views."
@byrosielouise added: “OBSESSED with these amazing bathrooms at this super cool restaurant in London.”
This comes shortly after the announcement of the "best bathroom of 2025" in London, by Gemma Wardle, who manages the TikTok account @loos_of_london, a page dedicated to reviews of luxury bathrooms.

Last year's winning bathroom was Jacuzzi in Kensington, an Italian restaurant part of the Big Mamma Group, known for its luxurious interiors. With over 12,000 views and 50 comments, it was chosen for its "mirroring and disco lighting - a real social media magnet."
And it's true - visitors have become completely obsessed, taking videos of the toilets more than the dining room. Gemma described the atmosphere in the Jacuzzi toilets as "an erotic '80s extravaganza", adding: "As soon as you walk in, you feel like you've been transported to an Italian disco." /GazetaExpress/
