NE was suspended for 48 hours after a worker fell from a construction site on "Remzi Hoxha" Street in Ferizaj and died at the scene.
The Basic Prosecution Office of Ferizaj said that this person was detained "due to suspicion of the criminal offense 'Destruction, damage or removal of protective equipment and endangering safety in the workplace' under Article 358 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo".
In response, the Basic Prosecution Office in Ferizaj said that "it will continue with further legal procedures within the legal deadline."
"The incident in question occurred on 'Remzi Hoxha' street in Ferizaj, where a person fell from a building under construction and after arriving at the scene, emergency teams determined the victim's death," the announcement states.
The State Prosecutor, as announced by the Prosecutor's Office, "has instructed the Police and the Labor Inspectorate to undertake the necessary investigative actions, in order to clarify the circumstances of this case."
"Meanwhile, by order of the state prosecutor, the victim's body has been sent for autopsy to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Pristina."
