With 22 votes in favor, one abstention and none against, the Tetovo Municipal Council approved the Proposal-Decision for determining the route and harmonizing the profile of the linear infrastructure in a part of the "Bllagoja Toska" boulevard, which began the procedures for the extension of the road from the "Tekstile" School to the "Mema" roundabout, reports Gazeta Express from Portalb.mk.
This is the segment from the intersection with the "Ilinden" boulevard to the intersection with the "KR Drnc" road, from km 0+000 to km 0+300.
This decision is part of the procedures for the implementation of the project for the opening of the boulevard, which will start from the area known as "Tekstilja" and will extend to the intersection with the 'Ilinden' boulevard or to the point known as 'Mema'.
The Head of the Urbanism Sector in the Municipality of Tetova, Rilind Selmani, explained that they are currently in the process of preparing the documentation for the construction permit.
According to him, the full project envisages a length of about 650 meters, but for 300 meters it is necessary to harmonize the Detailed Urban Plan with the General Urban Plan.
"For this, we need, as an administrative procedure, a decision from the Municipal Council," said Selmani.
The advisor from 'Better for Tetovo', Agron Arifi, requested that the project be implemented as soon as possible.
"I hope that you will complete this boulevard issue as soon as possible and by the end of the mandate, I hope that you will make maximum efforts to penetrate that part and enable citizens to cross that boulevard more easily," said Arifi.
