The media outlet "Roma Press" reports that the two protest participants in Bitola, Rafet and Feim Memishovski, were escorted to the police station last night for an informational interview. This measure comes after three days ago, during the blockade of the Bitola-Resenje road, they publicly threatened the police and the heads of state.
So far, it has not been confirmed whether only an informational interview was conducted against them or whether an urgent sanctioning procedure will be initiated.
It is worth noting that, before being called to the police, Rafet and Feim Memishovski publicly apologized to state leaders for the threats they made.
The pair were part of several protests this week by disgruntled citizens whose vehicles were seized by police after they were driving without a license. The reason for this situation is the current regulation, which allows obtaining a driver's license only for people who have completed primary education, a rule that the protesters say is discriminatory against them.
