If the Albanophobic chants of a group called "Komiti" by fans at the Vardar-Tikvesh match were a mere coincidence, it would not be taken into account at all. Not even the cannibalistic sound of the expression:
"The dead Albanian, the good Albanian, oh hey!"!

But when you notice that we are dealing with the appearance of anti-Albanian choruses, organized and structured, in flagrant contradiction and violation of the fundamental law of a republic maintained like a "worn shoe" thanks to "cobblers", then the problem is endogenous.

In Skopje, not only in stadiums, but also in political behavior and gestures, anti-Albanian provocations and incidents are common.

The offensive and substantially racist anti-Albanian acts in North Macedonia are a serious setback that poses a risk to coexistence in the Western Balkans, not just in the "patched" republic, a candidate for EU membership.(!)

A month ago, such calls were recently heard at a stadium and the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Macedonia "punished" the criminal offense with fines as for traffic violations or "throwing garbage outside the bin"!
This ministry, even today, after a month, does not reveal who the perpetrators of those barbaric anti-Albanian calls and attacks are.
In August 2025, the same scene occurred in Kumanovo, even in the presence of Prime Minister Mickovski and his subordinate, Toshkovski.

These provocative episodes against Albanians have recently been joined by the deeply provocative gesture of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Macedonia, Vlado Misajlovski.

This minister holds a memorial ceremony in front of the Special Forces Battalion memorial in honor of the four members of the army killed in Vejce in 2001. He bows and pantomimes in front of the plaque that labels the Albanians involved in this conflict, marked 25 years ago, as "terrorists," despite the fact that there were victims on both sides.

The official gesture, the written plaque and especially the reactions of the Macedonians are sufficiently against the Ohrid Agreement, which marked an existential agreement for North Macedonia, between the Macedonians and the Albanians. The text of the memorial, in front of which the Minister of Defense, the Macedonian Misalojvski, dares to make an anti-Albanian political move, among other things, has the following content: “…They fell in the war against Albanian terrorists on 28.04.2001 in the region of the village of Vejce”. (It is about the KLA war)

These episodes and many, many others in everyday life clearly prove that the racist anti-Albanian hatred of provincial Macedonians, and not only, is a problem of coexistence and standards. And since it is such, i.e. backwardness in coexistence standards, Albanian institutionalism, especially the political and interstate one, should have and does have a completely different approach and reaction than it has up to now.

When we say that North Macedonia exists precisely because of Albanians, this is as valid as physical gravity for this republic.
Macedonians are not aware of this and deserve to receive dignified evidence.
The Albanian factor in the institutional life of MV must prove capacity and demonstrate dignity...!
Such memorials in MV should be removed by law and with the force of a legal task force.

The constitutional rights of Albanians are equality of citizens and a state-forming ethnic unity.

Albanian diplomacy, in the RMV, Albania and Kosovo, should have carried out a timely fact-finding report in institutional partnership with international Commissioners and especially with official Brussels.

Macedonians are insufficient to bring back the old history of the Balkans with hatred, and their racist, anti-Albanian and especially their differentiating potential.

Albanians now have reason to give a lesson about democracy and especially dignity to these neighbors, especially their state cohabitants in the Republic of Macedonia, without hesitation.

It is in the dignity of Albanians not to leave even a shred of opportunity for both Macedonians and their brothers in the provinces of the region to repeat and manifest acts of racism or Albanophobia.

It's a different time and they have "changed the mirrors" to see what doesn't coincide with this time for the region.

Macedonians have more reason than any other people of these lands to adopt Pushkin's axiomatic line: "There is no returning to the past!"
