The Municipality of Pristina informs citizens that tonight at 22:05, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.8 has struck southeast Kosovo (Prizren–Shtërpcë area).
The earthquake was felt in several parts of the country, while the municipality confirms that so far there are no reports of injuries or serious damage.
"The relevant institutions are continuously monitoring the situation," the municipality assures citizens.
Meanwhile, in this situation, the municipality has given important instructions to citizens:
“ • If there are other shaking, stay away from windows and objects that could fall.
• Indoors, take shelter under a sturdy table or near a retaining wall.
• After shaking, carefully exit to open spaces.
• Do not use elevators and avoid unnecessary movements.
• Check homes and help people in need.
• Get information only from official sources.
