The Independent Academic Union (SPA) announced that on April 17, it held a meeting with the Minister of Education and Science, Vesna Janevska, and with representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science (MES), at the Ministry's premises.
The meeting was held at the initiative of the SPA, based on a previously submitted request to open an institutional dialogue regarding the package of draft laws on higher education, scientific research and quality assurance.
They add that despite the arguments and suggestions presented, most of our proposals for improving the text of the laws were not accepted at the meeting.
