The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, the Speaker of the Parliament, Albulena Haxhiu, Prime Minister Albin Kurti, along with other personalities, participated in the ceremony of raising the Flag of the Republic of Kosovo, on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of Kosovo's independence, reports Ekonomia Online.

As part of marking the 18th anniversary of Kosovo's independence, a series of state and commemorative activities are planned by the country's institutions during the day.

According to the official agenda, a solemn meeting of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo will be held at 07:20.

At 07:30, tributes will be paid at the Monument to the Missing in Ibrahim Rugova Square in Pristina.

At 07:35, homage will be paid to the Memorial Plaque of the Murdered Children in the courtyard of the Kosovo Parliament.

At 08:00, homage will be paid to the grave of former President Ibrahim Rugova in Velani, while at 08:10, homage will be paid to the grave of activist Adem Demaçi, also in Velani.

At 09:00, tributes will be held at the Adem Jashari Memorial Complex in Prekaz.

At 10:30 a.m., a solemn session of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo will be held in the plenary hall of the Assembly.

At 11:25 a.m., tributes will be paid at the Heroines Monument in Pristina.

At 11:30, a parade of Kosovo Security Force and Kosovo Police troops will take place on Luan Haradinaj Street, from the area known as Qafa to Newborn Square.

At 17:30 PM, a state reception is scheduled for the President, the Speaker of the Parliament, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo.

Meanwhile, at 20:00 PM, a solemn concert by the Kosovo Philharmonic is scheduled.
