Renowned singer Sting has stated that he does not plan to leave his wealth to his children.
The 74-year-old said in an interview that, although he supports them financially, he wants them to find their own way in life.
He stressed that telling children that they don't need to work is wrong. According to him, this harms them and hinders their development.
Sting said his children have a strong work ethic and are taught to strive for success on their own. "You have to work," he said, adding that he has provided them with an education and basic necessities.
The singer emphasized that this approach is not harsh, but a way to make them stronger and more independent. He added that his children rarely ask him for money, and he appreciates that very much.
Even earlier, Sting has stated that he does not want to leave them a large fortune, as he believes that they should achieve success on their own. /Panorama
