The MP of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has reacted to the death of Agon Zejnullah, a 27-year-old from Lipjan.
Concerns have been raised, even by the deceased's family, that he died after being beaten by Kosovo Police.
Berisha has called for an independent and transparent investigation into this case.

With deep pain and concern, I received the news of the tragic passing of the young man Agon Zejnullahu in Lipjan, in circumstances that raise many questions and require immediate answers.
Respect for human life is the foundation of every democratic and legal order. No one is above the law, neither the citizen nor the police.
I urgently request:
An independent and transparent investigation by the relevant bodies, INCLUDING PIK and the State Prosecutor's Office;
The full disclosure of the circumstances that led to this tragedy;
Punishment of anyone who has exceeded their powers or acted contrary to the law.
Sincere condolences to the family. Zaynullah. Your pain today is everyone's pain. I assure you that we will not allow this matter to be covered up with silence. Justice must be served!
