The Kosovo Volleyball Federation in cooperation with the Albanian Volleyball Federation will organize the U-16 European Championship for Girls, which will be held from today, July 2 to 13, 2025, at the Palace of Youth and Sports in Pristina and Tirana.
This is the largest international volleyball event ever held in Kosovo, and one of the biggest events in Kosovo sports, representing a historic moment for our sport and community.
Our girls begin their campaign against Montenegro, a match that starts at 20:00 PM and is expected to attract a large number of viewers.
Last night, the acting Deputy Minister for Culture, Youth and Sports, Daulina Osmani, visited Kosovo U-16 in preparation.
Kosovo's group (B) also includes Croatia, the Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Montenegro, Slovenia and Turkey.
Albania is in Group A, along with Bulgaria, France, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Spain and Ukraine.
Kosovo and Albania played two friendly matches before the start of the European Championship, while they also jointly visited the "Adem Jashari" memorial complex in Prekaz.
