Swiss footballer Fabian Rieder spoke at a press conference before Friday's match against Kosovo.
The young Augsburg player has praised the Dardan team, but has meanwhile insisted that the Swiss must start the 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign on a good foot, writes "Gazeta Express".
"We are playing against Rexhbeçaj, a new teammate for me. But, they (Kosova) are well positioned in the whole team and we will have to push ourselves to the limit against this strong opponent," he initially stated, as he spoke about the duel with his new teammate, Elvis Rexhbeçaj.
"It won't be a walk in the park for us in these qualifiers. All three teams (Kosovo, Sweden and Slovenia) have exceptional quality. But we want to get through the group and, if possible, win all the matches. These are our goals. We can't wait to get started," Rieder concluded.
Switzerland and Kosovo will face each other this Friday in Basel in a match that will start at 20:45. /Express newspaper
